Secret Sister Gift

I am part of the Secret Sister program at my church. I was partnered with a wonderful woman who has attended for years, serves in the nursery, and is a mom to two college-age kids. Over the past several months, I have surprised her with various things, including LOTS of chocolate. For Spring, I wanted to do something different. This is what I came up with.

I purchased the cute little bucket at Target. I also have a couple of them in pink. They were in the Dollar Spot, but weren't supposed to be. I didn't discover this until I checked out, but decided to get them anyway. I glued a peach colored ribbon around the bottom and made a tag with the Tags, Bags, Boxes and More cartridge on my Cricut. I attached the completed flowers to wooden skewers that I had cut to the length I wanted. I wrapped double-faced tape around the end of each skewer and held them upright as I filled the bucket with glass pebbles. The center of the flowers and the head of the butterfly are decorated with acrylic accents similar to Dew Drops. I found these in the floral section at Michaels and also covered them with Stickles.

The flowers are from this:

I found this at Archivers all the way in the back, on the bottom shelf, near the holiday paper and cardstock shelves. Aren't these beautiful? These are so much fun to play with. All you have to do is punch them out, crease on the fold lines, and layer them together with brads or other decorative items.

We are supposed to learn our Secret Sisters next month. I better get a couple more things done for her before then. :-)
